Issue with Shirt and Pants creation

I recently created a shirt and some pants (You can find them in the user catalog) When I wear one, it blocks out the rest of my character's items. Is there any way to fix this? Should I use the template differently?

Yes, I chose "Top" for this shirt, but it blocks the rest of my character's items (except for the hat) when i wear it

The background AND the template? I already deleted the background.
